1. Rider Responsibility

Monkee Bikes are designed for personal transport and recreational use. Riders are fully responsible for:

  • Understanding and obeying all local road rules and traffic laws.
  • Wearing an Australian Standard-approved helmet at all times while riding.
  • Using appropriate safety gear (e.g., lights, reflective clothing, closed shoes).
  • Maintaining control of the bike and riding in a safe, predictable manner.
  • Ensuring their Monkee Bike is in proper working condition before each ride.

2. Age and Usage Guidelines

  • Riders must comply with local age restrictions for e-bike use.
  • Monkee Bikes are not toys and should not be used for stunts. Monkee Bikes should be riden responsibly.

3. Ride Conditions

  • Always ride with care in shared spaces, riders should apply to relevant road rules for bike riding in shared zones.
  • Avoid riding in extreme weather conditions, on unsafe surfaces, or at night without proper lighting.
  • Do not carry passengers unless the bike is specifically designed to do so.
